Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC)
Atomic level templates on the surface of small specially treated polymer spheres transform dissolved CaCo3 to a crystallise form. The crystals are relatively insoluble, effectively isolating the CaCO3 from the water chemistry and anything the water contacts.
The results -
Extremely efficient ‐ 5 seconds contact time regardless of hardness level. Conventional water softener resin requires 90 seconds.
No Salt or other chemical regenerants required.
No backwash waste water. Can be used in areas where water softeners are banned.
Protects the environment and reduces water usage.
Long lasting media ‐ Not consumed by reactions. No control valve or electricity required.
Use with cold water only. Max pressure is 900kPa. Maximum operating temperature is 38°C. Turbidity (suspended solids): < 1 NTU, Chlorine: < 3ppm, Hardness (CaCo3): <120mg/L, Iron (Fe): <0.3mg/L, Manganese (Mn): < 0.05mg/L, Copper (Cu): 1.3 mg/L, Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S): None, Oil & Polyphosphate: None.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Filters should be changed every six months or earlier for higher water usage application.
Scheduled maintenance is recommended
Please install the system away from the sun or undercover. Sun light can damage the housings.
